My Mom's name is Esther, my Dad's is Thomas. They are both Christians and are the most supportive and loving parents in the world. I have an older brother, Andy, who is basically my best friend. We don't always see eye to eye but we don't ever fight. Andy came on staff to Caravan my junior year of high school. Seeing how God worked through Caravan in his life got me thinking about coming on staff. In the spring of my senior year, 2011, I sent in my application to Eddie and was accepted to come on staff. As the end of my senior year approached, Eddie talked with me about when I should come down on staff. It turned out that I graduated too late to come on staff for summer, therefore I would come on staff in Fall of 2011. Two weeks before I was supposed to leave I broke my foot and was unable go. These speed bumps really threw me off. I thought I knew what God wanted, where He wanted me to go and when He wanted me to be there. Over the Fall season, while I was healing, God really humbled me and taught me that I have so much to learn. Now it's January and I am here and I am so excited to learn.
