Day 2 was great as well.
The students have gone above and beyond everything they've been asked to do. I haven't heard one student complain. They're definetely being stretched. The neighborhoods we've worked in have been very poor. Most of the students on this trip have never seen anything like this. They've seen photos, but one student said, "I didn't realize that it was really like this all over the place." They've also noticed the joy of the people here. The families we've served have loved us well, and so have their neighbors. OPur students are playing with the children as often as they come around, which is pretty often.
